Off Season Updates

Hi Parents,

I hope everyone had a great Labor day weekend. I wanted to send out a quick note about the offseason. As our offseason continues, we are going to begin planning for the 2023 season. One thing we are in need of is volunteers for our board. This year we have several board departures. I would like to take a moment to thank the people that have made our program great.

Paul and Krista Kuber - Paul and Krista have been instrumental in our program for several years now. Paul (Vice Chairman) and Krista (Concessions Coordinator) have done an amazing job with our concession stand. For the past several years, Paul and Krista have kept our stand running, well-supplied, and MUCH improved. We will miss you in 2023.

Jenna Meyer - Jenna has been the Uniform coordinator for many years now and has done a phenomenal job. Jenna has worked hard to get everyone their uniforms, order replacements, and make countless trips to Burghardt's. Thank you, Jenna, for doing such an amazing job over the years.

Steven Pfaff - Steven is our Field Coordinator. Steven has worked countless hours prepping the fields, working on the equipment, and chalking the diamonds. Steven is moving on to some very exciting things in his life and we want to wish him the best. Thank you for doing such a great job with our fields over the years.

As you can imagine, we are looking for some help. We are looking for the following positions to be filled in 2023.

Vice Chairman

Uniform Coordinator - Jason Hammersmith (Thanks, Jason!)

Registration Coordinator

Website Administrator & Social Media Coordinator - Melissa Jorgensen (Thanks, Melissa!)

Concessions Coordinator - Amanda Fleury (Thanks, Amanda!)

Chairman in 2024.....

These positions do not require a ton of time or effort, however, we do need your help. We are always looking to our board members for new ideas, new programs, and great input. Please reach out to me if you are interested in helping on our board. Our next board meeting is September 14th at 7:00 pm.

Thank you,

Greg Winn

Thank you!

Hi Parents,

Now that August has arrived and the season has wrapped up, I would like to thank you all for participating in our program.

Thank you to all the parents for getting the kids to and from each and every game.

Thank you to all the coaches and assistant coaches for working hard to teach and support our young athletes.

Thank you to all the umpires for showing up and trying your best to call a good game.

Thank you to all the concession workers and volunteers, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all the sponsors for supporting us financially.

Thank you Steven for always making sure our fields were prepped and ready to play.

And last but not least, thank you to all the board members for organizing this league.

As we turn the page on 2022, I have one last request. If you are interested in helping on the Board, we would love your help. Every year we have board members come and go and the more help we have the better this league is. Our Board meets once per month for about an hour, hour and a half. We all share responsibilities and help each other whenever possible. We are always looking to improve and for new ideas. If you would like to contribute, we would love to have you. Please take a moment to email me and let me know if you are interested in helping.

Thank you for a great season.
